What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Michigan
I live in a house that has been divided into 4 apartments. I have lived here for 2 years with no problems. A new tenent moved in and within a few short months I started getting bit. The source of the problem was bed bugs. The new tenents apartment was totally infested, and now I have them. The landord has used do it yourself methods (not professionals) to rid the bugs to no avail. I have dealt with this issue since Feb. 2009. Now what? I'm tired of dealing with it and am afraid to move and bring the crittters with me......what are my options?

When there is an insect problem affecting multiple units in the building (not just one), the LL has the responsibility to correct the problem. Call the health department.
