What is the name of your state? Louisiana My wife and I, along with our two children, live in a month to month rent house in Opelousas, La. Our landlord gave us until Oct 6 to be out of the house. His reason was that his family was displaced by Hurricane Rita(Sept. 22) and they need a place to stay. Do we move or do we have rights? There are no rent houses in this area due to the increase of evacuees from hurricane Katrina and hurricane Rita. Can our deposit be reimbursed? If not what do we do?

Yes, it was a notice to vacate his rental property. The notice was given Sept.26 four days after hurricane Rita and we have untill Oct.6. We were told since St.Landry Parish is now considered a disaster area we have untill Oct.30.Is this true? What do we do?
