Need help finding medical expert witness in New York state

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? New York

Hello, I'm an employee with a small upstate New York lawfirm, which has only one lawyer, who is currently engaged in litigation on behalf of himself with a hospital over an emergency room mistake. The lawyer does not have experience with medical malpractice cases and needs to find an an emergency room medical expert witness. He has run into the typical problem of local doctors being reluctant to testify against the hospital they do business with. He has contacted a referral agency, but is reluctant to pay a $1,500 fee to obtain access to a list of emergency room medical expert witnesses.
Can anyone help us find a doctor or doctors who are willing to work as emergency medical malpractice expert witnesses in New York state?

A lawyer who represents himself has a fool for a client.

A malpractice attorney would know where to find the expert witnesses.

    Try ExpertPages.com

Go to https://ExpertPages.com, as the site lists many qualified and vetted experts and has been doing that for 22 years. The experts charge only their normal un-marked up fee, and the website does not charge lawyers or paraprofessionals searching for a qualified expert. ExpertPages.com is affiliated with FreeAdvice.com.

This is intended as general information only, NOT legal advice. You are not my client and I have no obligation of any kind to you. To retain a lawyer I suggest you go to www.AttorneyPages.com.

Yes but the lawyer still needs a lawyer. Med mal is a very specialized field and he should have already realized that he is far out of his depth.
