What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
Wisconsin

I was taken to a clinic by my employee for an alcohol screening. At the clinic I was given the screening in a room which was open and other patients were walking by in the halls. Is this a violation of privacy?

Possibly, but it doesn't really sound like something that was illegal. Even if it were a HIPAA violation, that's not something that you can sue over. It just gets the provider in trouble with the government.

What are you trying to accomplish?
