detrimental reliance - I looked it up and it seems like it pertains to my situation. I have 3 separate texts and emails telling me that he would pay the $1,900.
Is it really illegal for an employer not to report a workplace accident ? I would imagine that my health insurance company thinks they shouldn’t pay for any medical costs related to a work related injury ?
I hate doing that . It is a small business. I’m healed up . If he would just pay the $1,900 , everything would be fine. I asked him 3 times and sent him the invoice each time.
I was discussing the project with another contractor at the customers site . It was a lot of ice on the pavement . I slipped and fell on my left side . Broke one rib and collapsed my left lung .
I know. Can you still file a claim ? Doing this would certainly cause me and the owner , that have been friends for 35 years , to sever ties :( . Sad to say.
