Do I disclaim a judgment to Title if wife is sole signor on homestead being sold?

30k and no. The home we're moving to will eat the proceeds, thus the need to retain them. That's before a reduced settlement, which I may be able to negotiate.

Do I disclaim a judgment to Title if wife is sole signor on homestead being sold?

Thanks for your substantive feedback. A search returned no lien against the house. We're together on the deed as wife and husband. The proceeds of the home are not to be used towards the judgement. I am responsible and will pay from my sole income. Am I correct that we are Tenants in the...

Do I disclaim a judgment to Title if wife is sole signor on homestead being sold?

My question involves collection proceedings in the State of: FL My wife is sole signor on our primary FL residence/homestead. Florida is a “separate liability state” and a “separate property state.” We were married at the time of purchase (Tenancy by the Entirety) but she single-handedly...

S-Corp and Deed Witnessing in Florida

Sorry, FlyingRon. Awkward semantics. I'm not really that confused. Just rushed. It's not that I don't want to stand in front of a notary, it's that I don't have convenient access to two saps who would take time out of their day to be my witnesses for multiple deed signings a month. I may have...

S-Corp and Deed Witnessing in Florida

Taxing Matters' response ends my inquiry, so thanks to them. It's a one-person S-Corp, but it's an S-Corp for tax purposes only. Have to dredge up witnesses now for every deed. It's a PITA, but will pay the bills. Thanks all.

S-Corp and Deed Witnessing in Florida

What is the name of your state? Florida. Is an LLC filing as an S-Corp able to avoid the witness requirement on Deeds in Florida if the Grantor or Grantee is the CEO and affixes the corporate stamp? Does the title need to be CEO, or can it be Owner in a one person operation?

Do I list my LLC bank account on a personal debt judgment fact info sheet?

In that same line, do I need to report real estate assets held by my corporations on their fact info sheet?
