Part 2 of my attempt to get a plea bargain/reduced fine in NYS, received this letter after pleading not guilty through the mail. Out of options 2 and 3, whats my best chance here? Not gonna hire an attorney, should I request a trial or "contact the DA office" (???) ?

It says on my NYS speeding ticket to submit a not guilty plea within 2 days, if I submit one past this do I eliminate my chances of getting a plea bargain? Am I allowed to plea not guilty at all past 2 days? How the hell do they even know when I sent it?
