NCP Mother who is being asked by PC to do supervised visitation based on an incident that CPS has investigated and closed. Why?

"...I have missed over 10 days of visitation and three weeks without seeing my child over this my attorney kept advising me over and over to agree with the supervised visits from the parenting coordinator but I just don't understand WHY??" Just my 2 cents, but rather than comply with supervised...

    Terminating Child Support

In CA, you can'r have your diploma before the graduation ceremony at the end of the spring term. I "graduated" early (all classes and credits completed) and the school gave me a letter verifying my status in case I needed it.

    Quit Claim or Quiet Title

Actually, they do. My youngest son is on the title, but only his ex-wife is on the mortgage. The home was financed that way from the get-go. It may be unusual, but it can happen.

IRS saying Dad didn't file last year, even though they cashed his check

Yeah, good luck with that number. I spent several hours a couple of mornings being transferred around and then finally disconnected before finally giving up.

Hare Krishna's are being bullied by a "street person"

That would make him self-employed, and the standard for being required to file when self-employed is @$400.

    Increase in 401(k) contribution

You could pay, you just want to put money aside for the future. Plenty of people in the US retire every year without a 401k or any other retirement savings. I suggest you stop saving and pay your debt

Is This New? Filing My Taxes

Thanks, everyone! I guess I didn't catch this last year because I got a refund. For 2020, despite having more than 10% of ALL my income withheld by the pension fund, it wasn't enough. I'll ask them to start withholding more so I can cover 2021 taxes. Another urban myth destroyed.

Is This New? Filing My Taxes

Sorry, I messed that up! So I'm using a well-known tax filing software, and it says I must take half of my Social Security retirement, add it to all my taxable income, and if the result is greater that $25,000 - then ALL of my Social Security becomes taxable income! This means I owe the feds...

    Collections for school

Possibly this is an old collection action and the couple wasn't due for a refund until now. I suspect this is for unpaid tuition or the like NOT covered by a student loan, since the school is supposed to verify the borrower student is actually attending classes prior to disbursing funds. And I...

    Collections for school

Unlikely. The school had a published deadline to drop the classes and avoid payment. He failed to do so. Such a policy is commonplace across the nation.
