    Abandoned property

I found the forms. For future reference of those who may need to know in the future, you can find them here: https://www.tjctc.org/SRL/eviction-plaintiff.html There is a helpful information document and a pdf form. Now I just need to read the 300+ pages rules of procedure. It looks like...

    Abandoned property

Yes, I have learned my lesson. I am curious on the long story if you want to DM me. I read the links you supplied, thanks. I think I found the forms. I gave a notice to vacate. So I guess the next step is to file for eviction.

    Abandoned property

What is the name of your state? Texas Last year, I allowed a friend to move a fifth wheel trailer onto my property. The occupants were to be her and her child. She asked if a friend could move in to help with child care. Shortly after that, she and her child moved out, leaving the friend...

    Is this accurate? Other options?

In most circumstances in TX, child support is a percentage of the NPC income, not a shared income calculation. So in this case, it may not matter that she makes more. A judge may alter the percentage for 50/50 but it doesn't sound like they currently are doing 50/50, even though that's is what...

    Child's insurance responsibility

Texas is a percentage based on one party income. Sometimes, as appears the case was here, medical costs will be added to that. So for one child, child support is 20% and then there is usually a percentage of medical fees (premiums and expenses) paid by the NCP. The addition of medical fees...

    Cannot modify support.

You might also try reapplying for assistance and apply for disability.

child support through TX OAG, EX is in CA

As I was told by TX OAG, they will work with other states to enforce child support. However, TX cannot by itself enforce the child support if the NCP is in another state. The NCP will be a resident of that state and subject/protected by the regulations of that state. Child support is still a...

child support through TX OAG, EX is in CA

No, you do not open a case in CA. TX will enforce the case in CA. For example, I had a case in CA. I moved to TX. I filled out paperwork with TX to have my CA case moved as child support follows the child. My ex was still in CA (and later NV), so the support would need be collected there...

child support through TX OAG, EX is in CA

It sounds like you are at a different approach than I had, so I will have limited knowledge on that. My orders started in CA and I had problems getting TX to deal with those orders. By starting in TX and then enforcing them in CA you may bypass some of the difficulties I had.

child support through TX OAG, EX is in CA

I had an order with California and moved to TX for a job. It took two years to get TX to enforce the order. I sent them certified copies and I called every month. Be persistent. Have you opened a case with TX OAG yet? That is the first step.

Parent refuses to follow Dentist Orders, joint custody.

When you eliminate two categories from your child's diet and the result is less cavities, you cannot claim it is both the gluten free and sugar free diet. It might just be the sugar free. You may just have the perception that it is both. Only a real elimination diet can tell you what really...

Ex went from reliable income job to work from home "job"

If she is working from home and she created the distance, then she could have the flexibility to do most of the driving. She could work extra on the days she does not have visitation and then drive to meet you closer to your end. She created the distance, she should deal with the time and...

Legal aid for special needs child?

Also check out social media for potential referrals. I live in a major town and I still have trouble finding specialist. I belong to a few groups on facebook that focus on my condition. When I am at a dead end regarding doctors, I ask for a referral in the group. I then have a name that I...

Can a grandmother adopt without father's consent?

If the father is receiving SSDI, he may be able to receive some payment for the child. If the grandfather/grandmother adopts the child, then support is no longer awarded. Why are you not supporting the child? Whether or not you feel like you belong should not dictate your relationship with...

Complex situation regarding children not wanting to see their dad

Blood does not make a family. If a parent is abusive to a child, they are not under obligation to care for them in their twilight years just because that parent cared for them while they were a child. The parent has a choice about having children; the children do not have a choice about...
