What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? MA

I know this might seem ridiculous but hear me out. I had a contract with another company (out of state) where they would develop and sell merchandise for a brand I own and we would share the profits. It did not work out, and only about $25 due to me ended up being sold. They have not paid it, I contacted them about it, and they claim to be "looking into it." For a month and a half now. I kept on them about it and they claim it was paid in a previous payment and they are "trying to find out which one." It's not listed on any income statement, so it seems like a convenient ploy to say that.

Now they have gone off the radar, and I don't believe they are ever going to pay it. Business relationship with them was terminated months ago. It's not worth suing anyone for $25, and they know that, which is likely why they did that. This burns my ass though.

If they screw everyone out of nominal amounts of money, it adds up for them.

Is this the same company to which you refer in:

If yes, then the handwriting was on the wall a long time ago.

Although I understand your concern, the $25 is an amount that is not worth the cost of pursuing and is best written off as a learning lesson. You were smart to terminate your relationship with the business.

No. But they are a dime a dozen though. I had to make a new account because I got locked out of my old on BTW.

Thought so. It's not the same company so you don't need to link. This one is in CT.

Thanks for clarifying.

If there is a company in your state that you can work with, you would probably be better off working with them. You can have closer control over your business operations that way. You apparently have not had much success working with out-of-state companies.

Good luck, Dash.
