I filed for bankruptcy in 98, I would like to purchase a "NYC affordable home", that is a one or two family home in a not so great neighborhood that is subsidized by the city.
I had one refusal saying that they do not sell to people who have filed for bankruptcy until l0 years have passed! I would like to apply again but each application requires a $40. credit check and i want to know when I will no longer be refused. Ihave a good job and fairly good income and have been employed for l0 years. Would appreciate any imput. Thanks, Mona
