I purchased a car and was sold the wrong year. What are the next steps in making them take it back?

How do I get this dealership to take a vehicle back when it’s the wrong year asked for?

The paperwork says a different year from what I got!
Should have said so earlier.

The year that I test drove didn’t make my leg hurt!
What paperwork? You'll have to be more specific.

What model year does it say on your purchase contract?

What model year does it say on your finance agreement, if you financed?

What model year does it say on the Window Sticker?

Now put the Vehicle ID Number into the following website:

https://www.vehiclehistory.com/vehicle/land.php

What model year does it come back as?

By year I want a 4 digit number for each of the 4 questions.

And for the third time, the US has 50 states. What state are you in? Name it.

So you're saying you didn't test drive the car you bought? How very odd.
Or, you test drove a car that DIDN'T make your leg hurt and when you went to do the paperwork you didn't check the Vehicle ID Number of the car you wanted against the Vehicle ID number on the paperwork and now you have a car that DOES make your leg hurt?

Sorry if it seems like we are pulling teeth here, but you aren't being clear about the chain of events that occurred.
