I have to wonder if that is actually the case. I have run into many people with suspended NY licenses who apparently went out of state to get another license.
What does that mean? Was it a lapse or a "no insurance in effect" suspension?
How do you know your NYS driving privilege is not suspended? It may very well be.
You said you wanted it out of your house. Get the wheel addressed - get it outside. Whatever happens to it happens, at least it'll be out of the house.
