What does this have to do with auto accidents?
It's usually a bad idea for a seller to act as a bank. If the buyer can't hand you cash at the time of the sale then the car shouldn't be sold. You're finding out the hard way.
Maybe she found the title and took care of the registration process...
Your passenger's testimony won't be seen as particularly credible. Good luck getting an independent witness to actually testify at your trial months from now.
The deck is stacked against you anytime you have no real defense, which is the situation in almost every single traffic trial I have...
Sure, there's a need to report it but not file a claim. I think the OP was a bit confused about how it works. Or maybe the rep she spoke to on the phone was assuming their insured would be filing a claim.
What is involved here? Property damage, personal injury, or both?
The police who responded to the collision don't count when determining fault if they did not witness the collision. Your husband should have reported the accident to his insurance company and contacted the other driver's insurer...
I know plenty of divorced folks in many different states who got remarried and their prior marriage never came up or was a non-issue.
I don't think it's anything to worry about. When you get to that point you can certainly make inquiries with the local licensing authority and if their answer...
Apparently more than you and your whining about being treated unfairly.
Sounds like you didn't yield to a car since you "gunned it" to get in front of him. You really didn't describe your situation very well at all. If there are trees and bushes in the way do you think that's an excuse to just...
Well you DID say that it was rare for a police officer to issue a ticket in error or one that could be successfully fought. That sounds like you acknowledge that the police are almost always right.
So does that mean that now you'll be posting questions about every possible traffic violation that you can be stopped for?
Really? So I'm glad to hear that every time you get a traffic ticket you'll acknowledge that you were wrong and just plead guilty and pay it.
Training? How do you consider that to be a lack of training? Sounds pretty on-point and professional to me.
Did you expect him to engage in small talk with you? Did you expect him to invite you to lunch? Or did you expect him to negotiate with you?
I wouldn't say that a bus making a brief stop renders the travel lane "impassable", but that's just my opinion.
You can get ticketed for anything - ultimately the only opinion that counts is that of the judge that hears your case.
When you actually get ticketed for an offense you can come back...
"Probably"? Where are you getting that number from?
It's only stupid because you disagree with it after having been caught. You can easily commit two violations with one movement of your vehicle.
If you've been stopped "a lot of times" then it's about time you got ticketed appropriately...
Of course there are existing laws - you got charged with violating one!
Well gee, sounds like you have all the bases covered. You shouldn't need an attorney since you have it all down pat. Good luck in court.
