     I have to pay to seat a jury???

     Ohio I am facing a civil trial for a traffic accident. At pretrial, the judge said I would have to post a $1000 bond to seat a jury. I don't have it so I reluctantly agreed to let the judge hear the case. Can I change that if I can come up with the $1000 before trial? Is there anyway to NOT...

     I was convicted of DUI in Ohio a few years ago and have yet to go to trial for the civil case. In arbitration, the panel suggested $20,000 in actual damages and $20,000 in punitive. The damage to his vehicle was about $2500 and related medical bills for the soft tissue injury was about the same...
