     Deposit returned after renting 19 years

     What is the name of your state? Monterey county, California I moved out of a place i rented for 19 years. The landlord has denied me getting back any of my original deposit of $800.00, stating cleanup and other costs for getting the home ready for re-renting. Any recourse for me?
