     Can my trustee keep 25%of my refund?

     I did the right thing and surrenderd my tax refund to the trustees office. At first they told me that 78% would go to creditors and I would get the remainding 22%. Now I just got a letter stating that my trustee filed to recieve $616.79 for his compensation fee. Is this legal?

     bankruptcy and credit score

     Does anyone know for sure if a bankruptcy on your credit record would increase or decrease your score? The fico website says that it will decrease it and a couple of loan officers say that it will increase it.

     how long should discharge take?

     I filed bankruptcy on the 13th of October, my hearing was the 13th of January. The trustee wants to see my income tax return, after that will my case be discharged?

     Can they take my tax refund?

     I have just recently filled for a chapter 7 bankruptcy. I went to my court hearing and the trustee wants to see my tax refund check before I cash it. When I check the status on my case it says awaiting 341 meeting. When I file my income tax, will the trustee keep my whole check and then...
