     Renter or homeowner?

     What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Florida I hit a dog recently and i was told that i am not at fault and my car should be repaired by the owner, but i called the homeowner and they say they have nothing to do with it, who is responsible the homeowner or the renter?

     Hit a dog

     I am located in Florida. I hit a dog at 10 mph or so, and the dog is fine, and I am fine. My car is damaged and I am wondering if it is the fault of the owner, the dogs were not on a leash and they were running around on the street at night. Does the owner have to pay for this?
