  It's a crazy matter. If you read the letter and read what else has been going on. Other people online got caught up in it. But you're probably right. I need to get a life. lol. Thanks, I think. I knew I was getting ahead of myself.

  I read the letter. It was put up on social media. Other people saw it as well but I don't think they'd do anything about it. I'm concerned for the lawyer. The letter does not make him look good at all. I don't know if the lawyer already knows about it and I think he should be told about it...

  The one who got the letter? I heard he doesn't have a lawyer. I assumed he would, but I don't know. He didn't act like he does. He's not that famous but well-known -- perhaps C list celebrity. So maybe the attorney has heard about the letter already, but I'm not sure. I think somebody...

  Yes, you got the sequence of events right. I don't personally know any of the people involved. Just a third person (well, fourth) who is assuming most lawyers would want to know if somebody is using their name, firm address, email address, to send a threatening letter to someone else.

  It was impersonation to make empty threats to someone that he better make a public statement and apologize -- could that be considered "some gain" for the author of the letter? Yes, I would like to contact the attorney. I just don't know all the evidence or questions he's going to ask me...
