I tried to keep him separate at the beginning, the GAL actually got him involved since we all live together and he takes care of my son as a parent would. They have interviewed him, and the new psychologist wants to interview him as well.- WonderingGALohio

Well, the GAL said that one day he thinks that he should not have contact and one day he thinks that my son should at least know his dad. So... he could not make a clear recommendation. Instead, he is saying that we should go see another Dr. who will see us in therapy sessions separately...- WonderingGALohio

The GAL on the case told me he is recommending no contact, but fears when or if the courts concur, that my ex will lash out and the GAL was asking what my securities are at home for my family. I won’t. He doesn’t like surprises but also worries a lot. So I think I will tell him Sunday. He like the GAL, so I will just tell him to be relaxed and whatever he feels, to say. I love home no matter his feelings, or what he says.- WonderingGALohio

Well the council and magistrate had their phone conference today. The guardian is still not sure and did not formalize a true opinion, other than he is still leaning toward no contact. I am not a GAL, but they do have certifications I believe, and are qualified in ways other lawyers are not. The GAL I have is not uneducated or poor at his position, but this is a difficult case for him. It is not ice cream making my child happy, I assure you, but a stable home that the GAL can...- WonderingGALohio

Thank you. I have never said anything bad about his father to him, which is why he requested a GAL to make sure, and I I am clear of any allegations of that. I even tell my son not to speak I’ll of him. And yes, it takes all my power to not say anything or tell my son not to say anything.- WonderingGALohio

The CPO is in effect currently, 5 yr, 3 remaining. My ex’s lawyer is trying to get it removed so he can have visitation at the least. He has filed for shared parenting, but in our 2014 divorce papers I was awarded sole custody and he had no parental rights until he files..the GAL on the case...- WonderingGALohio
