Oh. We didn't realize that this would even come up. It wasn't on my radar at all. I think otherwise, I would have said leave it there. My brother was the one wanting to close the account, which he did. I think he still has the money. Do I tell him not to touch it? How is it best handled?

I didn't actually receive any money from the estate. Because the amount is so small, and I'm in a better financial position, I let my brother take the money. He is a caregiver, and helped mom for three years before she passed away.
