What is the name of your state? ny my finace recently died.leaving behind 5 kids,ages 2-6.since we were not married legally,do i have a right to custody of them? i love them,and treated them like they were my own.

uuuuuuuhhhhhh, no. The kids have another parent, as well as relatives on both sides. Blood relatives. SO's have no rights whatsoever.
