What is the name of your state? CA
in sept. 1998 or maybe '97 i was stopped by a sheriff around 30 miles out of the town where i live. he gave me a sobriety test and arrested me for under the influence of "speed". any how i went to court went to programs screwed them up and have been in this cycle ever since.not that big a deal because its a misdemeanor warrant from another county whatever.in other words im used to that. and i should mention i havent been arrested or anything since maybe 1 seatbelt ticket thats it. i go to work every day come home to my wife and kids every night dont get into trouble.recently i was browsing the sheriffs website from the county i do live in and noticed i am the first on the list of the 10 most wanted in my county..!!!!!!!! my heart sank i thought what about my kids and why the hell is my picture and address on this site?ive done several warrant checks on myself and nothing from this county.what should i do?and can't i sue for defamation of character and possibly punitive dammages?im scared to mow my front lawn a couple of friends and neigbors have called me..."hey what did you do your the most wanted guy in the county?" please help?

And what were you told when you contacted the police/sheriff and inquired about your inclusion in the 10 most wanted list?

my mother in law went down to the sheriffs office and asked them, she said that i was a good father went to work every day didnt get into trouble dont sell drugs surely not a murderer and they asked if i owed child support.well i do ,not much as i have custody of my children now, so i called the dcss(dept. child support services) office and they said no warrant was issued through them for me.

You have NO grounds for a lawsuit - for defamation or anything else.

Turn yourself in and the matter will be quickly resolved, won't it?

Until then, you will have to live with one eye cast over your shoulder.

if i knew what it was for i could make a dicision based on that answer of what steps to take to taking care of it. if im getting framed for murder or counterfitting ring or somthing else big ill call a lawer if its for an unknown unpaid parking ticket ill turn myself in. but if it is the parking ticket then why am i on the most wanted list?

My response:

Interested in seeing what our writer, Gordon Gray, looks like?

Go here:

Look at Gordon and the other LOSERS on the San Benito County Sheriff's website. These people all look like freaks and mental defects - - and they wonder why they're "criminals". Well, it's no "wonder" to me! Yeah, Gordon - - you're an Angel.

There's a reward out for Gordon, too! Need some extra bucks?

Hey Gordon - - you're the only White person on the list! At least you're a citizen. The rest of those "defectives" are a bunch of freakin' foreigners. Nice company you're keeping, El Gordo!

You're so screwed up, and "used to the system", that you don't know which end is up. Yeah, you're used to being a criminal, big boy. You don't get on the Ten Most Wanted list for a "misdemeanor", idiot stick!

If you didn't complete your diversion program it would be more than a misdemeanor. If you really haven't done anything, it could be that there is more than one Gordon Gray there are over a hundred Gordon Gray's in California or you may have been the victim of identity theft hiding out won't help, get an attorney
. SB county isn't online with court calendars but you can call them, Court Calendar
Calendar information will be made available soon.
Should any question arise regarding calendar information for a given case, please call the Superior Court at: 831.636.4057
