What is the name of your state? FL

My new job lost my social security card and I am not sure what I need to do beside replace the card. If my identity is stolen and there are fradulent charges is my job liable for the charges? Also if they are liable what can I do to make sure that I do not have to pay for any charges? I am really worried and my job is not telling me anything. Who can I report this to?? Thank you

Call the 800 toll free call to SSA , it should be in the phone book .
Or since you have INTERNET , look it up .

Get a replacement .

It was the worker near you dat did it .

Seriously , if you do banking , let them know to be on alert for anything suspicious .

Also , get your credit reports from the CRAs .
