What is the name of your state? NY

Last night my girlfriend and I were denied by a co-op board in Manhattan NY, and we feel as though discrimation was the reason since we met all the financial requirements.

In addition, I believe there were defamatory and degrading comments by the board members which I would like to pursue as a separate civil matter, what are my options?

Well, for one, post the exact statements made and the proof that you have that they were discriminatory.

The statements were not illegally discriminatory (we believe the decision was)

The statements were false accusations against my background and character, which is why I would like to pursue this as a separate matter, and would like advice on how to proceed.
