I got a divorce from my ex in April, 2000 in North Carolina. We had marital debts that needed to be taken care of. The judge ordered my ex to pay me a set amount of money each month to handle these debts. Lately, he hasn't made his payments. Without going back to my lawyer, what can I, myself do? Since it was court ordered, would going to the sheriff's department be of any help?
He was also supposed to receive a worker's comp. settlement. The judge ordered him to pay me off if he received this settlement. How do I find out if he received it? (I cannot ask my ex, since he is a compulsive liar)
