Divorce with fault grounds????

What would be the difference in a judges ruling as concerns child support and the splitting of assets if i continue with the fact that he abused alcohol ?? i had filed with fault grounds but was thinking of dropping it as i'm not sure what the real difference it makes... to me if it doesn't affect the splitting of assets or child support then what is the point??

It might affect splitting of assets but child support is determined by statutory formulas and would not be affected.
