What is the name of your state? California

I've spoken with a supposed gold dealing corporation located in NV and CA and have made a recorded telephone verbal contract to purchase a said amount of gold. I've answered "yes" to certain questions but never signed and returned the paper contract which came in the mail. The agreement was to hold a certain amount of gold for a few weeks until purchase can be made.

They are selling pre1933 non reportable gold coins. After viewing their DVD and claim to be associated with the American Numismatic Association, I went to the ANA website and searched the company's name but nothing was found. I also searched another coin dealer association website, for which claim of association was made by said gold dealer, with no such names found. Although I would like to make the purchase, the company seems to be making untrue claims about associations and is seemingly off the radar when I try to double check their credentials. They have big names on their DVD and radio adverts pushing their company, so I am confused.

Can I say the name of the company on this forum to see if anyone has dealt with them? What happens if I decide to not make the purchase. I havent signed anything, only made a recorded telephone agreement to buy a certain amount. Is this enforceable even if the company is fraudulent?

Thanks in advance. Input is appreciated.

Have you searched for incorporation papers for each state? In my state, this information is available online through the Secretary of State website. In addition, check for complaints at the state attorney general's website.

thanks much, i looked it up... theyre incorporated in CA but juristiction is in NV.. but agent for service of process is ... business filing S incorporated.

as for the NV search, the company status is "convert out" and the same guy is listed for director, secretary, treasurer, etc. no actions of litigation or judgements are recorded, but the re's a new address for a different state and i cant find them incorporated there.... (scratching my head)

since i have no idea what this means, is that information reassuring that this is a legit corp?
