Help I could be sue for about $1800 dollars worth of damages, but I am not being sue in small claim court.

Can I demand to have my case heard in small claimed court. If anyone knows could you site the leagal authorities. ;)

No. And there are no legal authorities.

Just out of curiosity, is the party suing you using an attorney? That would be a reason that filing in a higher court would be necessary. But, in the end, it's the plaintiff's choice.
