Help I could be sue for about $1800 dollars worth of damages, but I am not being sue in small claim court.

Can I demand to have my case heard in small claimed court. If anyone knows could you site the leagal authorities.

No. And there are no legal authorities.

Just out of curiosity, is the party suing you using an attorney? That would be a reason that filing in a higher court would be necessary. But, in the end, it's the plaintiff's choice.
