As a general rule, you cannot be compensated for the time you lost at work when you are pursuing or defending against a legal action.

You can sue for the value of the items being unreasonably held. Have receipts or other evidence available to support the value claimed by you in your suit.

Successfully fighting false allegations of domestic violence is not an easy thing to do. You seem to have done that, though. Good.

You should consult with an attorney in your area to explore your options but suing for the return of your items/value of your items is an option that you can consider.

Hiring an attorney in one's own jurisdiction is always an option for any poster seeking answers to legal questions, or seeking advice or information about the legal messes they find themselves in.

If the posters find that online sources are not helpful, hiring an attorney in their area is not only an option but it is the best option.
