What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Virginia

Needless to say I had a rough year in 2007 right after my dad was killed. Now that the judgment is over, I would be extremely grateful to anyone who could give me any insight into the following: As mentioned in Title, I got 3 DUIs in 1 year, the 1st in North Carolina, the 2nd & 3rd in Virginia. The charges in Virginia were for 1st and 2nd DUIs, which prevented the mandatory 3 in 10 years sentencing in Virginia. I am now finally very close to reinstating my License in VA, but was notified of a Hold by NC as I was taking the driving tests. I am working to have the Hold removed by NC, including providing proof of Assessment and Treatment in Virginia as well as paying their DUI Fee and some outstanding Court Debt. My question is: Is it possible that now, 6 years later the Virginia DMV might finally catch on to the fact that I had 3 DUIs in a 10 year period and further revoke my Driving Privileges as a result? Or, since I have made it this far without reprocussion can I consider myself to be (conservatively) "Safe"?

There is no way any of us could guess. The only way to know for sure is to ask those folks...and you can see the problem with that plan.

I don't think VA is going to revisit your convictions (or even could). You need to complete your NC requirements. If you still haven't taken the dui school, see here: http://www.ncdhhs.gov/mhddsas/services/dwi/outsideNC.html. Once you're reset in NC, VA should issue.
