What is the name of your state? What is the name of your state? TN
Its now ten years later and my bankruptcy is off my bureau. I would like to get an AMEX 'green'. It they approve me would my acceptance of the card make me liable for amounts discharged in bankruptcy?

No, but getting an Amex product if you included them in bk is going to be close to mission impossible. I have seen on another site if you pay them what was discharged that they will accept your application and apply their normal credit standards but no guarantees. But, that is only if you pay 'em first.
