What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Texas

We are a web design company, we offered a customer '100% satisfaction guarantee' not money back gurantee for a web design project. The project took a while because the customer was not providing the information we needed to get it done. Last week the customer sent us a list of products about 700 that are out of scope and not in an appropriate format so we asked for additional efforts to upload them into the new site we are building for him. The customer decided to cancel the project because of what he claims 'lack of trust' and he wants a refund back even though we told him that we will load those product for free again. The project original cost was $3500 Customer paid to date $2800 by milestone Should we refund his money back or no knowing that we worked over 200 hrs on this project?

The are no contracts other than having the word "100% satisfaction gurantee" in the initial proposal we sent him.

You have NO other contract with the customer? That was a mistake.

Your "100% satisfaction guarantee" would seem to imply that, if a customer is not satisfied, there would be a refund.
