My ten yer old came lived with me in louisana 1 1/2 yrs ago. She lived with her dad in Texas before, i was so happy he finally let her live with me. Instead of going to court and change the paperwork we just did verbal agreements and now i know that was wrong because he cannot be trusted. Well a couple of weeks ago she was with him for the summer. They end up in my driveway (i think she is suprising me by coming back early) to move her back to his house, total shocker. Him and is wife have 2 kids together and she has a 10yr old for a previous marriage too. Well the reason why my daughter left in the first place her step mom was being mean to her she has a daughter 2yrs younger than my daughter and she would take her daughters side all the time and would spank my daughter for no reason. So she says her step mom is being nice now and her daddy is promising her things, like they are going to get a horse and get other things. i don't know what to do. should i try to change custody to where she lives with me for good or let her decide? And where would i start trying to change custody? in my heart i think she is better off with me. please i need your help and opinions.
