What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CO
I really need some help. I have suspected my 11 year old was being molested since he was 5 years old. I think it has continued all of these years. Now he has reinacted what was done with him on his 8 year old brother and they want to press felony sexual assault charges on him. Not one person is trying to help me find out what happened to him. The detective said that if he was molested that is a completely different case and it will not be taken into consideration with the felony he is facing. He is a good kid, straight A student, in 6th grade taking high school classes and very respectful. I don't know what to do or where to turn. No one will help us. I need support for all of us-not just the family counseling we are in right now but someone who knows how to deal with this. I also need to know what we can do to protect him at all. I have no money and my ex is in rehab so I am no longer getting child support. What can I do? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
