What is the name of your state? Ohio
I live in Ohio and I'm 16. I was with a 25 year old and I gave him my consent. I need to know what the laws are, if I have a defence, how long he could be in prison( if there will be any tiem at all) or exactly what they could charge him with. it would be nice to know this before the end of the day if you would please.

The age of consent in OH is 16. However, if your parents have a problem with your being with this guy (and I would hope that they do - that's a huge age difference at your age), they hold all the aces. They can forbid you to see or speak with him. If he (or you) ignores them, they can have a restraining order taken out against him - and if he violates it, he can suffer the legal penalties.

Honestly, a 25yo guy isn't interested in you for your brain. A normal 25yo is going to be interested in women his own age, not 16yo girls.

It's not your defense, it's his defense and all depends on what he get's charged with. Aren't you happy with yourself for getting him in trouble? Well maybe there will be fewer victims in the future.
Yes, you have to tell the truth, both of you and as you have learned, your parents can press other charges even if the age of consent is 16, other laws apply.
I hope you used protection. We can't predict how the judge will rule.

Okay, let's step back a minute - so there is already a restraining order against him? Who charged him with what? Please don't make us drag every bit of the story out of you.
