What is the name of your state? washington

Alright, well, i just read another girl's situation, which is similar to mine, and well, i dont like the answer, but i figure i'll just post my story and get what I get.

I am 16 and will be 17 in april 05. I graduate in 06.
My mother and father are divorced. I live with my mother and He lives about 150-200 miles away in Lacy washington. My boyfriend of 18 lives in san antonio Texas. I was wondering if it would be possible to get out of my mothers custody and either in my fathers, or in some other situation so I can move down with my boyfriend and enroll in school and live with his family?
Is there any way to get into my fathers custody instead? ( he would allow me to go)
what can my mother do if I do leave while still in her custody? can she really stop me?
Is emansipation really necissary?
What rights do I have at 17?

p.s. my mother has drinking problems and bill paying problems, so thats part of it all...

Thanks

If you are being abused or neglected, you can contact CPS or the police and THEY can make a determination as to placement.

And I cannot imagine ANY scenario where a judge is going to allow you to be amancipated just so you can bail out to go play house with your boyfriend.

You got another 15 months or so to go before you can make these kinds of decisions for yourself.
