In a word, no.

Until you are 18, you live where your parents say you do. If they do not give you permission, you cannot move out.

emansipate

could i get emansipated and move in with my boyfriend and his family where i can be taken care of and loved because my parents dont have love for one another and they are all down on my boyfriend because of my sister having messed up her life and now my parents think i am going to mess up my life. they wont let me see him they wont let me talk to him. they treat me like a servant, i come home and have to go to work with my mom cleaning houses and have some time after that to do some home work after they gripe at me and make me quit my job because of my grades. and they blame me thinking i am stupid or something.

Absolutely not.

First of all, like many kids, you have a mistaken idea as to what emancipation means. It doesn't mean that you simply are not under your parents control any longer. It means that you are totally and completely responsible for yourself, financially as well as every other way. That means you have to be able to completely support yourself BY YOURSELF; not by moving in with someone else. YOU have to be able to pay rent, buy food, provide your own transportation, pay for medical care, insurance, shoes, shampoo, movies, and everything else - ALL BY YOURSELF. In addition, if you are not old enough to quit school, you have to be able to do this while attending classes.

Secondly, there isn't a judge in the world who will emancipate a 17 year old so that they can move in with their boy- or girlfriend.

Wow your parents really are awful.........taking care of you and such  The absolute nerve of them for not letting you play with your boyfriend!!!

Ungrateful..........

If you've managed fine for 17 years, one more isn't going to do any harm. Don't be in such a rush, being an adult with a s**t load of musts, responsibilities, serious problems and serious consequences isn't as rosey as you might think.
