Can a 17 year old female living in texas get an apartment with a 20 year old male. Granted he was the one who the lease was leased to but she paid bills too and had a budget plan and job. Everything on the internet is so contridicting some people say yes theyve done it others say its impossible. if they knew the address she wouldnt be labeled as a runaway right and the police wouldnt take her back home nor would the 20 year old male get in trouble? thank you for any replies.

I'd say it's crystal clear that the 17 y.o. should get her nearly-illiterate behind back into school.

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

The age of consent and the age of majority are not the same thing. If the 17 year old has the consent of her parents, fine. If the 17 year old does not have the consent of her parents, then they can come and drag her little underaged behind back home and there's nothing she can do about it.
