I live in the state of Montana, and was curious if it was legal for a 17-year-old to be with a 21-year-old with parental consent? And if so, is there anything that has to be done in order for it to be legal, or do parents just have to say they gave consent? Sorry if it sounds silly.. Don't really know how some of the laws work..

The age of consent in Montana is 16.

However the parent of the 16 year old can restrain the 21 year old from having any contact with the 16 year old if that's what they wish.
