What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Mo

My 17 yr old son left home yesterday to live with his 15 yr old girlfriend and her parents. Can the girlfriends parents be charged with Deliquency of a Minor by us, his parents.

they can be charged by the DA's office. you can go pick up your child, and have the local police escort you. if they refuse to release your child, the police may or may not intervene.

Thanks for the advice. I have called the authorities and they did escort us to the home, but they said they could not make him leave, so we did threaten the parents with the "contributing" charge so they told him to leave for now until they do some research. What a wonderful family we are dealing with. Our son is now with his grandparents. God bless them!! Any further advice is welcome!!

A normal family would send their daughter's boyfriend home when the boyfriend's parents requested it. They would be very eager to do so if the cops showed up over it.

I'd say there's problem with the family and with the son.
