My son turned 18 last November. He still lives at home and is in high school and will graduate in May. I have remarried and have 3 daughters and 2 more sons at home. He has never been in any trouble before now. He and his brother just started visiting with their dad ever other weekend around Nov. last year when he turned 18. We found out he touched his dad's girlfriend's (she is about 31 years old) breast during the night after he got off work. (His dad has been with her for many years) Also found out he touched her daughter's breast. No skin to skin contact. When confronted with this, my son admitted to doing this and we have fully cooperated with the police. Both parties involved are working together to have this resolved. No charges have been filed and we are waiting to hear from the Department of Children's Services about my son having some kind of a sexual orientation test and a councelor to visit our family. He is not allowed to sleep in our home because of my daughters. He can be here only if I am here and can supervise him. They seem to be turning him into some kind of child molestor(?) and are afraid that he may try something with one of my daughters. DCS has talked with each of us and we found out we all have the same story. No, he has not and we are not afraid he would ever touch one of them. The 13 year old he has touched is physically developed beyond her 13 years. We cannot afford an attorney and now feel that we are being ripped apart by this situation. The detective originally said that he thinks my son let his hormones get away with him, now it seems as if they are prosecuting to the fullest extent of the law. It was on the 31st of January when this was brought to light and we are still waiting. I want to know if anyone knows the possible charges-no one is telling us. We have been told that the DCS worker will make sure my son will never adopt or have foster kids and will probably have to register as a sex offender. I think they are taking this way too far. I don't think they can put him in the same classification as a rapist-if I am wrong, please help me. We don't know what to do.
