What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NY

I currently pay child support and carry medical/dental/vision coverage for my 19-year-old who attends college full-time and also works part-time. He recently signed up with the Marine Reserves and will be an active reservist until he graduates with a bachelor's degree on his way to becoming an officer (contract is currently for 8 yrs). He will be having everything paid for by the Marines; college, medical, etc., and will be receiving pay from them as well, does this constitute as an emancipating act?
