My son's 1972 914 Porsche was totalled when another driver made an illegal left turn into it. Edmunds puts its "classic" car value at at least $3,000, a number which is supported by the Porsche enthusiasts' community in general. But unfortunately, the car was not registered or insured as a Classic Car. So it looks like we are receiving nothing for the car beyond the charges we incurred to have it towed back to the house (he hopes to salvage some parts). Do we have any recourse? We have all the receipts from all the work that's been put into this car, if that helps. Police report confirms that the other driver was at fault. Thanks in advance.
