I am in Iowa. My brother got a letter today from child support recovery saying they will garnish his wages if he doesn't pay them the last 2 months child support. I went with him and his now X-wife to the attorney at divorce and asked her if she went to Child Support Recovery since she had mentioned it and she said no. So they went ahead and put it in the divorce pepers so apparently now there are 2 orders. Talk about wrong. So I am helping him get it straightened out but is there any legal recourse against her for trying to get twice the child support money? I know she did it on purpose and that is so wrong. I wish my children's fatehr was as great a dad as he is.
