What is the name of your state? Ohio I was recently approved for SSD and SSI. I went before the ALJ. When I received my award letter from SSI it said my review date would be in 3 yrs. When I received my award letter from SSDI it said my review date would be in 5-7 yrs. I was just wondering how one could so different from the other one. Thank you in advance. Pam

Because SSI and SSDI are two separate types of Disability benefits .
I wouldn't worry too much about it .
Just send in your periodic forms they mail you , until or unless you have to physically go for a review / evaluation .
Depending on the type of disability(s) , they may just send you a letter stating , they are not going to review at this time , when the time comes .

Thank You Very Much. My disability is COPD. I have a fev1 (lung capacity of 12%) and am bi polar manic. I was just confused as to why two different review dates. But you cleared that up for me. I appreciate your help. Pam
