What is the name of your state? GA

I had lost my wallet at the time this occured. Somehow a phone got turned on in my daughter's name. Her social security card was in my wallet. She is 2 years old(dob--8/23/01). Now the phone company is threatening to sue her for $161.78. Can they sue her due to her age?

No, anyone under 18 is a minor and not held to a contract. Did you include the daughters ssn# in your police report? If so, you need to do it nolw. Then, send a copy of the report with a letter staing your daughters age to the phone company. and order them to cease all activity. Send the letter CRRR.
