What is the name of your state? KY

As far as I've been able to research, it seems that the Age of Consent in KY is 16. What I'm unsure of are the "other" laws. What kind of relationship can a 25 yr old male and 17 yr old female have in Kentucky? Because Age of Consent is 16, I'm assuming they'd be able to be intimate. However, since the parents would not agree, what other laws could possibly be broken, if any? What kind of legal action could be charged against the older male if the parents found out they were seeing each other?

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

My response:

I absolutely LOVE reading posts from Kentucky, Arkansas, and the other Hillbilly trailer States! I think they're about 50 or so years behind the rest of the country - - which keeps the stereotype alive and well!

Thanks!

acdcownzu, pay no attention to those arrogant Yankees (redundant)!

"What kind of legal action could be charged against the older male if the parents found out they were seeing each other?"

Are you asking what happens if her father catches y'all in bed?

"It's really a shame about the Silverado," he said. "That was a really nice truck."

We do have our red state values!

And places like Cobol and Licking where some must watch their step!

Is it against the law there to have tailgates on pick-up trucks?
Isn't that so when all the high school boys get all beered up and go out with their shotguns taking target practice at stop signs they can roll in and out of the truck? :D

I was driving through Knob Lick (http://www.mophil.org/mopo/det/K14DBS702.htm) the other day and got a ticket for not having a gun in the gun rack of my pick up.

Should I start my own thread?
Nah, OP is still trying to figure out how to read the link he was sent to about the age of consent, maybe she will be old enough by the time he understands, anyway, a girl 17 in Kentucky
Knob Lick????
To each his own! LOL!

Well now how are you going to explain no gun in your gun rack? Do they offer diversion programs for that?

Did you like the one today about the Nashville DJ who got fired supposedly at gunpoint? OOPS turns out it wasn't at gunpoint afterall and he can't find an attorney to take his case.

So is this supposed to be a site for advice or a site to get flamed? If anyone has a serious response to my initial post, I'd greatly appreciate it. Everyone else, go troll some other thread.

And yes, I'm asking what could hapen if the parents found out. Age of Consent is 16, so I think we're fine there. But what other laws could possibly be broken, if any?
