My husbands friend is being told he will get 25 years in jail.

He served a year in Iraq and then when they told him he was going to go again he went awol for several months. He didn't believe in what was going on. Anyways when he got back he also got in trouble for some drug charges. Doesn't seem like it's worth 25 years in jail.

Any suggestions or ideas on how to help him??? Someone told us about a "loop hole" but I can't remember what it's called.....

You are going to have to elaborate on this one. 25 years... What where the drug charges? There is a big difference in peeing hot and perhaps bringing a kilo of coke onto the base with intention to distribute.

He just had a dirty drug test before he went awol- and then after several months of being awol turned himself in.

DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU HEAR. TO THAT END, THERE IS MUCH MUCH MORE TO THE STORY IN
ORDER FOR HIM TO GET 25 YEARS IN JAIL.
