i have been divorce for 6 years now. i am remarried,and my ex-husband owes me 25,000 dollars in child support. four years ago i foreclosed on my house. the first mortgage was paided off buy the sale. now the second is coming after for there share is there anything i can do to stop this. it is not fair let them go after my ex for the money

1) Declare bankruptcy and list him as a codebtor on the mortgage. The bank will go after him.

2) Sue your ex for back CS, get a judgment, and place a lien on HIS house. Then, transfer the lien to the second mortgage holder in exchange for a release from the mrotgage. (Don't transfer without a full and irrevocable release.) Alternatively, you can forclose the lien yourself.

If he doesn't own a house, get the judgment and file for garnishment of his wages. You'll have to check your state's laws on how to do all this.
